WHAT DO YOU SEE?

Jan 23, 2024

DAY TWENTYONE OF FASTING

How far you will walk with God is dependent on what you see and what you hear. This is why we must cry to the Lord, to help us keep our eyes on Him so that our eyes may open to what He is showing us and our ears open to hear what He is saying.

Romans 10:17 So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The voice you hear will either feed you with faith or with doubt and sin.

Without sight, you will remain a “beggar” because you cannot walk into your prophetic destiny until your eyes are opened (Mark 10:47)

Jeremiah 1:11-12 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”

God asked Jeremiah; what do you see? If I am to ask you; What are you seeing? Are you the kind of person whose vision is blurred without clarity and precision? Many of us are moving about in circles because we cannot see far.

Abraham, our father of faith, called of God, heard the voice of God and began to move with God. He journeyed with God for a season, then a time came when the veil(Lot) that he had moved with, could no longer allow him to move to the next level in his walk with God. It was until Lot departed, that he was able to see more accurately. (Genesis 13:14-15)

The spirit of spiritual blindness is worse than physical blindness. We must trust the Lord to cure us of blindness otherwise we will live short of what God has planned for our lives.

Ephesians 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened.

Always remember that in this kingdom we go up, expand and advance by revelation. This is why the eyes of our understanding must be opened so that we can see and take the appropriate action as we walk into what God has ordained for our lives.

No one can doubt what they see. Therefore, when you see fear in any area of your life, it is because there is a lack of clarity or vision.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

We are translated from one degree of glory to another and the amount of light that can reach you determines the degree of change in your life. As you behold so you change, it is that glory that brings about the transformation or change that you desire.

Job 42:5-6: When Job saw God, all his nonsensical talk came to an end. When you see, something happens to you; you cannot talk the way you used to for all the pride and lifestyle that doesn’t honor Him cannot stay.

May God open our eyes so that we may be transformed by the glory that we behold. How much glory are you seeing? The little or much you see is all based on the unveiling. That light can then penetrate our hearts to bring about the change.

Psalms 36:9 For with You [is] the fountain of life; In Your light we see light.

We need light so that we can see and be transformed to represent the kingdom of God as it ought to be.

All the compromises we see today among the sons and daughters of Abraham, are because of blindness. When you see, you cannot forget what you saw for it will always be imprinted in your mind.

You can never perform, rise or live beyond what you see.

You are only limited by how far you can see and the revelation you have in your spirit. May God help us.

Further study

Matthew 17:1-5: When Jesus ascended the mountain of transfiguration as he prayed, he was changed and the disciples saw it. It is that experience that made Peter stand up in boldness defying all odds. He could never leave Jesus because he saw Him in His glory.

Isaiah 6:1-7: When Isaiah captured the revelation of the light of God, he was able to see who he was in reality and he cried for change. The change you are believing God for, is made manifest by the light.

May the glorious light of the gospel pierce through our hearts and bring insight to us so that we may walk in the better things God has for us this year.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
