1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

We are not of our own, we belong to God. Yet we have our own will, feelings, and desires. But the beauty of being His servant (vessel in the hand of the Lord) is that you willfully submit yourself to Him and choose to use your life to serve God, not the enemy, or your pleasure.

As a believer, when your life is not your own, you’re governed by another law: the law of this Kingdom. The Lord is looking for complete yieldedness to Him without restraint, to His cause, purpose, and working.

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

There are many people in the house of the Lord who are not usable because they are still pursuing their agendas. There is a call from the Throne room of grace for us to surrender our lives so that we may be usable instruments in His hands.

We are ambassadors of Christ here on earth; it is not about our agenda but His agenda. We are here to represent, speak for, reveal, speak His words, and bring His agenda on the earth.

However, many of us are still caught up on our own, therefore finding frustration, and the will of the Father and the Kingdom of God cannot find expression through our lives. (Romans 8:19)

John 14:9 …He who has seen Me has seen the Father; …

Jesus came to reveal the Father, and He left us here to reveal Him.

In the early church in Acts, they were called Christians because when they were looked at, they looked like Christ because of their life (Acts 11:26).

When they look at you and me, do they see Jesus or have we frustrated the plans of God? We need to ask God to help us such that we may represent Him very well wherever He has planted us. He has no hands, feet, or mouth, but ours; we are His representatives. We no longer speak for ourselves. This means the businesses, careers, families and the life we live is not ours.

John 21:18 Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

God does not force us. Many of us are in this Kingdom and Jesus is only the Savior, healer, provider, etc. but is not the Lord of our lives. These kinds are children; but God is looking for those who will say: “Speak Lord, your servant is listening, what do you want me to do?.”

If Jesus is not Lord overall, then His not Lord at all. This means He directs the affairs of our lives and we willfully become His love-slave; enslaved by His agenda.

The greatest fulfillment and satisfaction is living for Christ, doing His will, and fulfilling His agenda. This is what we were programmed and created for.

Don’t live for yourself, but live for Him who died for you. When you lift up your hand and ask for God’s will for your life, tell Him that this is a platform to reveal Himself to the world, and watch what the Lord will do with your life.
