Luke 21:19 By your patience possess your souls.
Patience is one of the virtues that define men and women of faith and one of the greatest ways to walk in the promises of God.
Many believers walk away from their miracles because they are not patient. Do not throw away the towel.
Luke 18:8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”
Patience and faith work together. You can never believe unless you’re patient.
James 5:7-8 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord, is at hand.
If you don’t carry yourself with patience, you may walk away before the crops manifest. Harvesting requires waiting patiently.
James 5:10-11 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
There is a degree of suffering you go through when you choose to wait.
As believers, we have to take on the example of Job in our walk of patience bearing in mind that the intended end of our waiting is good.
Job 23:10 But He knows the way that I take; [When] He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.
Finally, Job came out of the test shining with double blessings (Job 42:10).
May God bless you after the order of Job as you wait patiently upon Him.
