Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
This Kingdom has no room for weaklings. Jesus paid the price for all our messes and all things that were against us due to the fall of Adam, which satan was using against us to launch attacks on us.
Oftentimes, what kills us is not knowing what we have and what Jesus has done for us. We do not start a rebellion based on feelings or excitement: there has to be something deep inside you.
Exodus 3:7-10, Exodus 12:31
Whatever God spoke or speaks to you does not just happen, we are co-labourers with Him. God has already played His part and it’s you to play your part. (2 Corinthians 6:1)
When the Lord made a covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15, the children of Israel stayed for 30 more years because their leader Moses was stubborn and did not play his part; placing a demand.
After his encounter with God, he walked into Egypt, there was one judgment after another (10 plagues)— this was the dealing of legalities.
No single Israelite participated in that deliverance; it was Moses alone, through God, who delivered the nation of Israel out of bondage. All God required of them was to believe the word of the man of God, and as many as believed Moses walked out of bondage.
Jesus said, “Only believe, and you will be saved.” Your deliverance requires you to only believe because Jesus fought on the cross and defeated everything that came through Adam.
Today, God does not only deliver people out of bondage but also into their possessions just like God raised Moses to deliver the children of Israel from bondage and Joshua to deliver them into their possessions.
Joshua 5:13-14 [13]And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”
[14] So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
Joshua had to be trained to fight by Moses before he died because some people were sitting on their possessions. In the battle against the Amalekites, Joshua was winning as long as the hands of Moses were lifted, and if they were down, he would lose; this signified the cross of Jesus. Our victory in the valley depends on the cross, it has nothing to do with strength. (Exodus 17:11)
If there is anything you now need, it is individual and specific instruction from God to enter your inheritance. You must stop being presumptuous and generalizing things just as Joshua was.
The war was not about Joshua, as he had initially thought. God had to strip Joshua of his pride because pride cannot win in this kingdom, and thereafter, he received instruction that granted him success. Every instruction God gives you, obey it wholeheartedly because it is what you will have to use to wage spiritual warfare.
Joshua 5:15
Spiritual warfare demands holiness; that’s why many believers have not taken possession of what Jesus already paid for. So, If you are serious about your inheritance, you will have to separate yourself from things, people, and programs that defile.
God is calling you to separation. Whatever He is telling you to separate from, start today; listen and do what the Holy Spirit is telling you. The enemy you are coming against in this battle is based on legalities, so if your walk is crooked, and he finds something against you, you will not win. (John 14:30 AMPC)
Colossians 2:13-14 (AMPC), Ephesians 1:3
When Jesus died on the cross, you were forgiven, and everything that was against you that the enemy would use against you was nailed to the cross. As we rebel against him, the basis for our rebellion is that Jesus Christ has already paid the price. So, whatever is happening in your life that looks like darkness is illegal because light and darkness cannot coexist.
As a believer, the number one thing you must learn is to cast the devil out of what is yours. You have the authority to cast out devils and do not stop until they are all gone. (Matthew 16:19, Mark 16:17)
The devil will always oppose the will of God upon your life, but you must not back down, for the breaker has gone before you. This month is a month of holy rebellion; whatever is yours, you will get it seven times better.
Great things and miracles are coming to us because we have learned to look unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith.
