Matthew 18:12 “What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying?
Jesus was revealing to us that one soul is as good as the ninety-nine in the eyes of God.
He left everything and took the risk of walking on water to save just one soul of a man who had been oppressed by evil spirits for a long time (Luke 8).
Luke 8:29 For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had often seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness.
Jesus was willing to scatter and end an entire business  (Luke 8)  because the life of a soul carries more value than titles, businesses,  careers, etc.
Matthew 6:24 “You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both.
There is far more to life than tangible physical things around you. Abraham was rich in all things yet he lived in a tent (Genesis 24:1, Hebrews 11:9).
Matthew 27:51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,
God no longer dwells in the temple but on the inside of you. That’s how valuable your soul is.
All men carry the same value because Jesus left heaven for all of us(John 3:16). That’s why you shouldn’t despise any man.
Genesis 12:2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great, And you shall be a blessing.
God blesses us to bless others and this calls for greater responsibility.
Can God trust you with this blessing in marriage, career, business, work, etc?
There is nothing wrong with materialistic wealth as long as you invest in eternity.
The souls of men are the heartbeat of Heaven and you ought to do whatever it takes to win a soul for Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things [done] in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Use what you have to invest on the other side (eternity) knowing each one of us shall give an account of what God has entrusted us with.
