UNDERSTAND THE TIMES AND SEASON-Engage God in prayer

May 2, 2025

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.

In every generation, God has always presented Himself to those who seek Him with all their heart, that is; a hundred percent committed to His cause. (Jeremiah 29:13)

In our human strength, we cannot seek God wholeheartedly. It takes the help of the Holy Spirit to reach that height where God becomes the backbone of our lives. May the Holy Spirit help us to develop that singleness of heart towards Him, so that God can prove Himself in the lives of His people.

We live in an age prophesied years before. This is the greatest hour of the body of Christ and God is placing a demand on us. How do we walk into the fullness of all these mighty promises?

Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone. (Zechariah 10:1)

This simply means that though it’s time for rain to happen, it will not just happen by itself, you must place a demand on it through heartfelt and sincere prayer.

Ninety percent of every Word that God gives a man or woman is premised on a condition that you engage God with the Word He gave you, until it finds manifestation.

The season of our favour and salvation has come. All we need to do is to discern times and seasons, partner with God by aligning everything with His will and purpose for our lives and place a demand on Him and ask for whatever is in this time.

1 Kings 18:41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”

We do not tell a season by what we see out there, but what we hear in our Spirits. When Elijah engaged God in prayer, the outside testimony was absolutely contrary to what the Lord was speaking. However, when Elijah engaged God in prayer, he didn’t stop till God created the cloud and rain came. (1 Kings 18:44-45)

James 5:17-18

Elijah prayed earnestly that it would not rain, he then prayed again and it rained. That means he discovered that in this kingdom, the formula for things to happen is prayer.

You are doing yourself a dis-service when you find yourself too lazy to pray. Many of the promises the Lord has given you don’t just happen, they are birthed from the place of prayer. You get them in your womb and push them into manifestation through prayer.

Anything that takes you away from the place of prayer and makes you busy is cheating you of the manifestation of the things God has spoken to you.

The decision lies in your hands everytime you sense that a time for something has come. The first thing to do is, go down on your knees and engage God in heartfelt continuous prayer until you see the cloud.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
