The primary need of a man is Jesus; nothing completes him but Jesus because we were designed and made in His image. The reason why we pray and cry; “give me You, Jesus” is because He is our completion, totality, and the One who brings the fullness within us.

Galatians 3:1 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified?

1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Sometimes we tend to drift away and think that stuff; anointing, titles, etc, will fill the place of Jesus. Let nothing take the place of Jesus in your life because He is everything; When you have Him, you have everything.

Jesus is the glue that holds all things together and as long as you stay with Him, consistently following His instructions and walking in obedience to His Word, everything that men look for will look for you.

Read Colossians 1:15-17

Unless Jesus occupies His rightful place in your business, marriage, ministry, and personal life, you will run the rat race and notice that it is only Him who satisfies a man.

When we cry; “His presence makes us whole” or “Jesus, I need you every hour”, it is not just because they are beautiful songs but He is the primary need of man.

Give a man anything and he will still be lacking but give him Jesus and he will have everything he needs because Jesus is the author and finisher of all that we see today. (Hebrews 12:2)

John 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Jesus is the Word and it is the Word that produces all that we see. That’s why we need to pursue and go after Him with everything within us.

All human needs ( joy, peace, health, wealth, etc) are all compounded in the life of Jesus: He is ‘IAM’, the life-giver. (Exodus 3:14).

John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have [it] more abundantly.

Anything in life that is outside Jesus is death.

Excitement and fun do not make life; life goes beyond excitement. It is the very life of God that places you in dominion and causes you to walk in the fulfilment of your prophetic destiny.

Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called [me] through His grace, to reveal His Son in me…

Our Genesis doesn’t start with our physical parents: we came from the very heart of God. Our parents are simply agents that God used to bring us to earth. We draw our true identity from our Heavenly Father and the fullness of life is only in Him (Acts 17:28).

Allow Jesus not only to be your Saviour but also Lord of your life and watch what He will do with you.

Matthew 21:2-3 saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose [them] and bring [them] to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord has need of them,’ and immediately he will send them.”

Every day of our lives should cause us to draw nearer and improve on our fellowship with the Lord.

The strength of our lives here on earth depends on how much of Him manifests through us. For some people it’s 30% Jesus and 70% flesh but the more Jesus you have in your life, the greater the dominion, authority, and satisfaction you will have in this life.

Luke 2:48-49 So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

The Father’s business is the Father’s will; we are here to do the will of the Father. That’s exactly what Jesus came to do and that’s why He has left us here to continue with what He finished at Calvary and spread it out to the world (John 4:34)

We do not live for ourselves but for Him alone. I pray that the Holy Spirit will help us to be vessels that bring God’s will into our environment.
