The place of waiting unto the Lord is that place of ministering unto Him. Anna and the Apostles ministered to the Lord in prayer and fasting (Luke 2:37, Acts 13:2).

Isaiah 40:31But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength;

Ministering to the Lord is what defines the life of a man(David) called ‘after the heart of God’. This is the dimension God wants to restore in the body of Christ where all we do is pour our love, reverence, and honour unto Him.

Psalms 22:3 (KJV) But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Prayer invites power but worship (ministering to God) invites glory and presence. You can see power without the presence and the glory but when you see the glory and the presence, power will also be there.

The Lord wants us to ascend from the place of power to that of His presence and glory. This is a place where men take their ministry from petition and supplication to pouring their hearts in thanksgiving, gratitude, and blessing the Lord.

Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

The Lord is yearning for ministry from us; we cannot preach or pray for Jesus but to men. We can do anything for men but the one thing we can do to the Master is, worship Him (the outpouring of our hearts). (Psalm 141:2)

Luke 7:37-38, 47-48 … 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head, and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much… 48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” The moment the room was filled with the scent of her perfume, Jesus immediately stopped everything and gave her His full attention and said to her she’s free. She worshiped herself into liberty; by just breaking the perfume.

John 11:32 Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”

Martha held a conversation with Jesus and nothing happened (John 11:20-27). But when Mary came, she fell at His feet!

This is the season the Lord is speaking into our hearts to turn to a place of ministering to Him; waiting on Him. He becomes your vision, obsessions, thirst, hunger; your everything. That the breath you take in and out is a cry and yearning for Him. This is where you find the depth of God- in that secret place.
