Until the body of Christ captures the revelation of God’s love, we may not be able to flow in power. God is love and we are His offspring.
In Genesis chapter three, when Adam sinned against God, he was chased from the Garden of Eden. He spiritually died and lost the capacity to Host God. God in His love still looked for an animal to die in the place of Adam to appease His anger because the sacrifice of blood was the only means man could approach God. (Genesis 2:17, 3:21)
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
The cross is enough proof that God loves us. If anyone shows up with anything that wants to take you away from the Cross, that person is an enemy. We are called to be rooted and grounded in love. When the foundation of your life is the love of God, nothing in this life can move you. (Ephesians 3:17)
We keep falling into sin because we have not discovered how much God loves us. But when we do, we shall run away from sin because living a Holy life sprouts from a revelation of how much God loves us. As a result, living holy ceases to be a command or duty but becomes a love affair.
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
God demonstrates His love to us through instructions and revelations which are meant to protect us, not to hinder our enjoyment of life and the day we capture the revelation of God’s love, we shall enjoy and obey every instruction with ease.
God loves you so much that He paid the highest price for your salvation and you should never take it cheaply because it cost Him His only Son. Satan uses sin as bait but always remember that the deceitfulness of sin is in its pleasure yet short-lived. That’s why as a lover of God, you should not play with sin. (Hebrews 3:13)
John 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me…
John 15:12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Jesus loves you. The best you can do is to love Him back. Being obedient to the instructions of God and loving one another is how we can show our love for Him; that is God’s interpretation of loving Him. (John 14:21, John 15:12)
1 Corinthians 13:1- 8 (TPT)
Anything we do without love is a hollow sound of nothing more than a clanging cymbal. Men can operate in all spiritual gifts, power, generosity, and offer themselves as martyrs but without love, all is nothing. We need to root ourselves in the Agape love because it is what gives value to anything we do.
The Agape Love is defined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. The God-kind of love never gets finished, never fails, and never gives up. That is why even if you sin 70 times 7 times and you ask the Father to forgive you, He will still forgive you. (Matthew 18:21-22)
We are sons of God, we should express Agape.
Ephesians 3:15-21
The love of God is experiential and it is the power that works in us. How much God gives you is determined by how much love operates in your life. When we are perfected in love, God will grant anything we ask, because our requests flow from a foundation of love.
To experience and live in the revelation of God’s love, we need to fellowship with the Holy Spirit because it is not by might, not by power, but by the Holy Spirit. (Zechariah 4:6)
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I am a man and I need Your help. Precious Holy Spirit, I am sorry where I’ve grieved, quenched, and resisted You. Without You, I cannot live this life full of Love. I yield myself to You, love through me, and let Your Agape overshadow my life and take charge of my drive. It is written: we are compelled, moved, and driven by love; let this be my reality. Amen.
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
