It is impossible for you to manifest this new life without the ministry and person of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, He must be given absolute permission to take charge of our lives.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

The best in man can only come out when he is in the presence of God. The intelligence, understanding, knowledge, and discoveries in science and technology we see today are just a shadow of who the real man is.

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit [be] with you all. Amen.

It is the Holy Spirit who brings us into the reality of His grace and love as He makes us come into that fellowship, and without Him and His ministry, we could be far off.

This explains why Jesus told the Apostles:  it is to your advantage that I go because if I do not go, whatever happens on the cross will not become your experience. It is the Holy Spirit that makes the manifestation of whatever Jesus did on the cross (1 Corinthians 12:7).

Luke 1:34-35 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “[The] Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you;

The impossible that was to be possible was the result of the Holy Spirit coming upon this little girl Mary. Even Jesus who was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, when He was born, the Bible says;”, He grew in stature, spirit and wisdom” (Luke 2:52).

Luke 3:21-22 When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, …

God answered Jesus’s prayers during baptism by sending the Holy Spirit upon Him. Whatever He accomplished in three and a half years was the result of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

If Jesus yielded to the Holy Spirit to see the fulfilment of what God had sent Him to do, how much more do you and I need the Holy Spirit?

Abraham was a businessman, Joseph and Daniel were politicians, and David was a king but all needed the Holy Spirit. This means that you need the ministry of the Holy Spirit outside there more than you need it in church.

Psalms 39:5 Indeed, You have made my days [as] handbreadths, And my age [is] as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state [is] but vapor. Selah

We cannot boast and pride in what we have attained in this life through education or experience; there is a place where these come to an end. So, what do you do? – You lift your voice to the Holy Spirit. But this calls for constant fellowship with Him even when everything is moving on well.

Read about Jesus

The life of Jesus is explained in terms of the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit. He was led and powered by the Holy Spirit.

We are struggling because we have not learned the secret of yielding to the Holy Spirit. He wants to guide and lead you; and wherever He leads you, His grace is sufficient to carry you (Psalms 37:23).

There is no telling what the Holy Spirit will do in your life when you have Him because He is your advantage. I pray that the Holy Spirit will place a deep yearning and longing for Him and His ministry on the inside of you.
