Psalm 147:4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.
There are billions and billions of stars in the galaxy, but God calls each one of them by name without repeating any of them. What kind of intelligent mind is this?
God is infinite, but in His mercy, He has allowed us to understand a little fraction of who He is. He is indescribable! No wonder He is God all by Himself.
There is nothing God does not know; you may not know, but God knows the challenge, solution and the way out because we are dealing with a mind that knows all things. He is an all-knowing God (Omniscient).
Jeremiah 30
One time, the Lord told Jeremiah to go and buy land where the Israelites would dwell, but just as he had finished the transaction, the Babylonians came and took the children of Israel into exile. Jeremiah became confused with the contradiction of what was being done and what God had spoken.
Little did he know that the moment God says something, that’s it. That is the kind of God we serve: we are better off agreeing with Him and saying yes to His will than trying to reason Him out. (John 2:5, Luke 5:3-6)
2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness,..
No matter how odd it appears, you and God are always the winners. I have been through circumstances and situations where it looked like the devil had the last word until God proved Himself as One who does what He says.
We serve a God who commands light out of darkness. Therefore, no matter the pressure life puts on you, if you have God, He will always come through for you.
Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
In this kingdom, you must believe that the One who called you is faithful and merciful. That’s how we walk and live.
Right from Genesis chapter three, God revealed Himself as a merciful God. When man messed up, He went after him and covered him with mercy. He always wants you and me to look at Him as loving, merciful, caring and full of grace.
As long as you are broken, contrite and willing to bow down and say Daddy, forgive me, He will move with you. (Isaiah 66:1-2)
Romans 4:21, Hebrews 11
Abraham and Sarah were two patriarchs of faith who identified the different attributes of God and hanged on them for their deliverance. Sarah hung on the faithfulness of God and Abraham on the ability of God: when faithfulness and ability met together, Isaac was born at 90 and 100 years respectively to prove to you that this God we have believed in is God who does the impossible.
As we seek the Lord, take your eyes off what you think you know. God is bigger than the knowledge you have. Every opportunity that throws challenges at you is a moment that avails an opportunity for God to reveal Himself to you as a God of the impossible.
Lementations 3:22-23
When you look at Sodom, Gomorrah and Israel, at that time, there was no difference, for Israel did all the evil that the people of Sodom did. But when God came down and destroyed the cities, He spared Israel because of His mercies.
The only thing that makes us feel worthy is His grace and mercy. We can never pray, fast or give enough; all we can do is lean on His mercy. No matter what you are going through, call on mercy, for it never fails.
