Judges 14:6 And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him,…
Throughout the scriptures, for every generation where the move of God broke out, some people separated themselves and placed a demand on Heaven for an outpouring of the Spirit upon their lives.
As much as God doesn’t give Himself easily, we don’t have to develop new inventions. All we need to do is to pay the price for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our lives.
Look at Jesus, even as the Son of God, nothing was heard of Him for the thirty years He had lived on earth. But the day the Holy Spirit came upon Him, everything changed. (Matthew 3:16-17)
Acts 1:4
The last command that Jesus gave His disciples after He had commanded them to go preach the gospel was to wait on the promise of the Father. He said, “Do not leave Jerusalem until you are endowed with power from the Holy Spirit“.
Without the mighty dressing of the Holy Spirit, we become irrelevant in this age: What gives us identity, and relevancy and makes us the salt and light of this world is the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit upon a people.
Acts 2:2-5 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you start doing things you have never qualified for. The nations will run to us when we take the limits off the Holy Spirit and allow Him to be who and what He needs to be in our lives. (1 Thessalonians 5:19)
I beseech you, let’s humble ourselves and tell the Lord: “We do not have it, please open up the heavens again and pour Your Spirit once more that when men see us, they see God”. (Acts 4:13)
Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past And like a watch in the night.
We serve a God who can compress a thousand years into three hours and do things that amaze men, leaving them to wonder, ‘How can this be?‘ just like Mary.
Don’t underestimate what God can do if you dare to believe Him. If the earth was under water for the entire forty days during the days of Noah, with the power of the Holy Spirit, God could change the whole earth in forty days.
May you join me in crying to the Master to exceed our expectations and invade the nations with an out-pour of the Holy Spirit like never before.
