THE LORD HAS MADE MY HEART SOFT

Sep 13, 2023

Job 23:16 (KJV) For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:

You will get to a place in your walk with God and it is Him and Him alone. He becomes your total dependence in that you are weak and are nothing outside Him. This is where your prayers and other activities cease to be religious activities; it is like a man on oxygen whose life totally depends on it.

In the same way, God makes your heart so soft that you become an addict that you cannot live without Him. This is where Jesus functioned from.

John 5:19 TPT So Jesus said, “I speak to you eternal truth. The Son is unable to do anything from himself or through his own initiative. I only do the works that I see the Father doing, for the Son does the same works as his Father.

Jesus sees and copies what the Father does. In this place, ambition dies and the Father is the initiator. This is a life of complete brokenness and it is not an event but something that keeps going deeper every day and every season of your life. ‘

The nearer/closer you draw to God, the weaker and helpless you become/see yourself. I pray God helps each one of us get to this beautiful place of fellowship and grow in it (James 4:8) . The place of prayer is not where you show your strength but weakness and helplessness.

Read 2 Chronicles 20

Never allow yourself to get into a religious mindset: It is very easy for a spiritual activity to become a duty/routine that you become a carrier of a form but the life is gone.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

We are in God but He is asking us to draw near to Him. God is talking about fellowship- a place for lovers and not for people who are for material gain. It is sad that we are raising a generation that is consumer-minded.

God wants us for Himself- there is no place for double-mindedness. The deeper the fellowship, the deeper the greater the anointing. These are entrustments; when God trusts you, He will entrust you with more. It is not about twenty hours of prayer, which is good, but it is a product of trust (Luke 16:10) . God is looking for trust.

Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

God is telling us there is a place in Him, and when you arrive there, there is another place- you can never stop as the fellowship gets richer and richer to the point that you start looking like Him. (1 John 4:17)

God needs serious seekers of Him, and then He will entrust us with great power and anointing to change nations. My deepest desire is to reveal Jesus to my generation and the only way to do this is to deepen my fellowship with God.
