THE HIGHEST TITLE(SONSHIP)

Jul 14, 2023

The highest title that God can ever give a believer is ‘SON’. Sonship takes you to a level of deeper intimacy and relationship with the Father; the reason Jesus went on the cross is to bring us into this Sonship.

Before you become an Apostle, prophet, pastor, bishop, man of God, teacher, doctor or engineer, you are a son and there is no greater title than this in the kingdom of God.

Luke 3:22 And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

God did not address Jesus as the Messiah or the Lamb of God but as a son. There is nothing wrong with having offices but the highest office that God can place a believer, is Sonship.

In this kingdom, you are a son before you become anything else. That is what gives you access to Daddy’s office.

Luke 15:20-24 [20]”And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. [21]And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son. [22]”But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put [it] on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on [his] feet. [23]And bring the fatted calf here and kill [it,] and let us eat and be merry; [24]for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.

When the prodigal son returned to the dad, he didn’t see a rebel but a son. The consciousness of sonship is what will give you the boldness to keep devils far from you, as the Bible says; ‘creations wait for the manifestation of Sons, not bishops’ (Romans 8:19).

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

The greatest honor that God has placed on you and I irrespective of the titles we hold, is that we are sons and our Father is in Heaven. (Matthew 6:9).

Mark 5:7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?…

When God announces you as His son, the devil bows and whatever has your name starts looking for you. Live in this consciousness that you are a son in the kingdom and you will not fall for the worldly things that men fall for.

We are in a month of rebellion and I urge you to rebel against everything that opposes your sonship.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.

PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
