THE GOD OF THE LITTLE

Jan 23, 2023

God raised David from taking care of sheep and made him a king because he was so committed to what was put in his hands. David risked his life to save the animals.

2 Samuel 7:8 “Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel.”

1 Samuel 17:34-35 “But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock,[35]I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.”

Promotion does not come because you have prayed for it but because you have been faithful in the little that God has entrusted you with (Psalms 75:6).

How many of us have been entrusted with something or people and when the enemy attacks them, we fight to save them?

This world is wicked and God is trying to raise change agents and place them in certain places; our presence must bring a change (Ezekiel 22:39, Matthew 5:13-14).

Why should God open doors for you when you have failed to manage the little He has entrusted you with?

Luke 16:10 “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”

God uses our faithfulness in the little to know whether we shall be faithful when He entrusts us with much because he who is faithful in little is already faithful in much.

Could it be that the reason why things are not working out is that you are not faithful with the little?

Your life can never stay the same as long as you remain faithful.

Read Esther 6

Mordecai’s life changed in one day from being at the gate to being crowned with a royal crest and a royal robe.

You gain weight in the spirit when God speaks your name and He only speaks your name when you are faithful with the little He has entrusted you with.

Job 29:15-16 “I was eyes to the blind, And I was feet to the lame. I was a father to the poor, And I searched out the case that I did not know.”

Whom are you helping? Whom are you defending? God gives us positions of leadership so that we may be change agents.

Many of us are anointed but God cannot give us our own because we have not been faithful in another man’s [business, shop, company, etc.].

Luke 16:12 “And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?”

Galatians 6:7 “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”

We as MJF have not arrived here by miracles but little by little.

Therefore, do not despise the little but be faithful wherever God has placed you because He uses the little to promote us.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
