THE GIFT OF MEN

Dec 25, 2023

Hebrews 10:5 Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me.

God in His greatness needed a body to bring salvation on the earth and He found that body in Mary. The Lord Jesus also required a body here on earth.

God has never stopped looking for a body to use; Can He use your body to project His agenda and advance His cause? Can you be God’s a vessel of mercy, grace, salvation and deliverance to His people? (Ezekiel 22:30).

Your village, family, nation, etc. is waiting for a body that is yielded to the Holy Spirit. This brings us to a place where we say; “Lord, here I am, use me.”

The greatest gift you will ever have is not your bank accounts, possessions or things but men.  If God in His greatness needed men, then you and I need them more.

This coming year, God wants to bring men into your life that will take you to another level. They will not come to you in a way that you know but it will take sensitivity to discern them.

Mark 2:3-4 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. [4] And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.

The paralytic man was heavy but he had four men in his life who carried him. May God send you people who will carry you and not just take you anywhere but to Jesus. May they be men who have faith in you and look beyond the crippledness and paralysis of your life.

2Timothy 1:16-18 [16] The Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain; [17] but when he arrived in Rome, he sought me out very zealously and found me. [18] The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day–and you know very well how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus.

Paul was deserted by everyone when he was bound with chains in prison. He had poured out His life for the church, but he also needed to be ministered to at one time and Onesiphorus is one of the people who always looked out for him and refreshed him.

May God send you people who are not ashamed of your chains but always look out for you.

Read Ruth 1:6-18 GNT

Naomi’s life was turned around because of one woman (Ruth) who held her hand. She had nothing to give her in return but Ruth never deserted her. May God take away the Ophahs of your life and send you people like Ruth.

Ruth 4:15 (GNT) Your daughter-in-law loves you, and has done more for you than seven sons. And now she has given you a grandson, who will bring new life to you and give you security in your old age.”

When Jesus looked down from heaven, He didn’t see any good in us but He still came down for us. That is why it is wicked for us to look down on others.

Honor all men because God hides His best in men. Sometimes men will come to you as problems; ask the Lord to open your eyes to see the treasure in those around you because in the problems lies the hidden treasure.
