Faith has a journey and it doesn’t begin when you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but it starts when God begins thinking about you even before placing you in your mother’s womb.

When you enter your mother’s womb, there is a Faith that enters you which you are born with (child-like faith). That is why you can tell children something and they believe it easily.

Matthew 18:4-6 (NIV) … “If anyone causes ONE OF THESE LITTLE ONES—THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN ME …

When did children begin to believe? It is simply because they carry the faith they are born with.

Matthew 11:25

There are things that “little children” have access to and carry that the “adults” don’t but as they (children) begin to grow, they begin to hear and see things in their surroundings and the faith they were born with starts to get corrupted and they start speaking or doing bad things. It is at this point where Christ comes to pick us.

Hosea 11:1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.

The Lord starts dealing with us after calling us from our beliefs; He takes us from our parents and anything in the world and starts ministering to us another Faith. God sends us men to help us mature our faith because it’s the faith we attain and walk in that pleases God. Hebrews 11:6

Some men gave their all even to the point of death; that is why in addition to prayer, fasting, the Word, etcetera, faith also demands us to trust in the Lord amidst all the trials that we go through. Proverbs 3:5-6

2 Corinthians 1:8-9 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. [9] But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead.

Sometimes troubles will come but they are training us to be fully consumed by the Spirit and presence of God and walk in perfect faith.

Acts 7:54-60

Men who were consumed by faith (Acts 6:5) were men who were full of the Holy Spirit. If we are going to go all the way like these men and reach a point where we know it is either God or nothing even when it points us to death, then we need to keep growing our faith by keeping in the presence of God.

Hebrews 11:13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.

What are you going through now? Has your faith been tested to the point of death?

We have at least seen, touched, and received something but these men did not receive the things that were promised, and yet their faith remained intact. This is where the Lord wants us to enter.

Daniel 6:20-22 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”

Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.”

When you are walking a journey of faith,

Many things come our way to test our faith even to the point of death as we are walking this journey of faith but what is our confession? Which voice shall we cling to?

Always remember that God is walking with you in any situation and He will manifest your victory if you do not bow down to the “golden image” like the three wise men did. Daniel 3:16-18

Most of us haven’t reached the level of holding on to our faith to the point of accepting to be offered to the lions. We must grow our faith to stand the tests that may come our way and only see Christ Jesus in any circumstance.

Hebrews 11:36-39

These men laid their lives for salvation. To some of us, it may be something different but we must rise in faith to our purpose and hold onto God for a change that heaven desires.
