John 12:24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

The glory of the seed can not be seen until the seed is buried and it dies. Its glory is in the resurrection.

Most believers don’t understand this truth. They jump out of the soil before the germination (Resurrection).

So to every believer there is a season that you have to go through where you lose confidence and faith in yourself and all you have to do is keeping your confidence in God.

Some people call it the wilderness experience but I call it the death season where nothing makes sense and it’s only God who understands.

In such seasons many of us come up with clever ways, ideas, ventures, and walk away from the process which is meant to make us the best we are meant to be. Those seasons ain’t fun or easy.

You yourself are a seed. You must accept there are seasons in your walk with God where all you are left with is God alone.

Deuteronomy 8:2 And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you [and] test you, to know what [was] in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

These death seasons bring the best and worst from the inside of you. God exposes you to yourself and everything beautiful and ugly inside you comes to the surface so that you go through a consecration, a pulling to God, yielding where you release that thing into the hands of God and tell Him to deal with you.

John 15:1-2… Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every [branch] that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

Such seasons are pruning moments where God comes with the spiritual knife and cuts off anything He wants to take away.

God comes through the means of grace He has instituted and circumcises us to cut away the flesh 1 Corinthians 10:23

Some of the things we pull down and bind, may not be the devil himself but God has permitted us to go through this wilderness season to make us better instruments of grace, and vessels of mercy so that we can accomplish His purpose in the land.

In such death seasons of our lives, the things which are meant to die will die forever and those meant to stay will resurrect in much better glory Romans 8:18.

Isaiah 53:5 (NLT) But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins…

Jesus, Himself went through the crushing and the process so He may be merciful unto us Hebrews 2:17 . But where you see arrogance and pride then men have not gone through certain processes.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Weaknesses are a place where you no longer trust in yourself, all you have is confidence in God. That is when the power of God is manifested at its maximum.

The valleys in your life are there to expose you to yourself Psalms 23:4.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew [their] strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

When an eagle wants to renew strength (as years go by the claws, beak become blunt and feathers old), it looks for the highest mountain available
(where preys can’t find it as it becomes vulnerable). Here it breaks the crawls, beak, and de-feathers itself. It stays for 40 days before returning to hunting with renewed feathers, crawls, and beak.

That is why the bible points us to eagle if we are to renew our strength because God takes the old stuff out of us and puts new stuff that is of His that will help you fulfill your ordination.

Jesus Christ who was announced on baptism as God’s son with whom the Lord is well pleased, a season came and cried why have you forsaken me, He was in the grave for 3 days but after he resurrected as a glorious savior.

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you and guide you that you may not fight what has come to make you better.
