THE CALL TO SPIRITUAL ALIGNMENT AND POSITIONING

May 11, 2026

Warfare is being waged against the church, yet many believers are sentimental that they have failed to understand what is happening in the realm of the Spirit.

This, therefore, makes them victims of what they should have been victorious over. This is because they haven’t paid attention to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Job 29:3-4 When His lamp shone upon my head, And when by His light I walked through darkness; Just as I was in the days of my prime, When the friendly counsel of God was over my tent;

God will always bring light to His children in moments of darkness. This light is locked in the instructions He gives.

Every time there is judgment upon the earth, God passes judgment on both His children and those who aren’t His. If you choose to stay casual with your Christian walk, you’ll become a victim of what the unbelievers fall into.

Exodus 12:3-13

When judgment came upon Egypt, the children of Israel were given a simple instruction to take the blood and sprinkle it on the doorposts so that they would be spared from death. However, despite being Hebrew, failure to completely obey and follow instructions would lead to the death of the firstborn in the household.

Being born again is good, but not enough; you must be attentive to the specific instructions God gives you to overcome the darkness invading the earth. If we don’t want to be caught up in the same predicaments as those who don’t know God, we must make regular adjustments.

Many of us have become familiar with the things of God, and we take His instructions for granted. We have allowed the world to fill us with information so that we are no longer able to hear what God is telling us wherever He has placed us.

As a child of God, how are you supposed to live?

Genesis 3:8

The fellowship/relationship that man had with God stirred up what God had put inside him and caused him to have dominion over the three dimensions: the earth, the sea and the air. When man fell, he lost his submission to God, and everything rebelled against him.

Creation can only submit to you to the degree you submit to God. That is why it is possible to exercise the name of Jesus and see no change. This is because it isn’t about the name but positioning or alignment with the ultimate authority, God, who gives authority.

In Matthew 8:5-10, the centurion understood that everyone could listen to Jesus because He was under authority. The ability of Jesus to speak and effect changes wasn’t about the word that came out of His lips, but positioning.

We must stop living ordinarily because heaven is looking for men and women who have understood the times and seasons so that they align themselves in terms of their relationship and walk with God.

1 Corinthians 10:13

The time has come for us to begin interpreting whether what we are engaged in is permissible or beneficial. We must stop engaging in activities that don’t add to our spiritual lives and increase time for activities that strengthen our fellowship with God.

These are Kairos moments: God is set to lift men, but while some are being lifted, others will be put down. That is why we must slip away from things that don’t add up to our spirituality and leverage on those that strengthen our relationship with Jesus.

As a believer, how much time do you spend in God’s presence? David was a king, but all the things that he had didn’t limit his fellowship with God. Another example is Daniel, who was a prime minister but sought the face of the Lord three times despite His busy schedule.

Our fellowship with the Father will determine our ability to soar above what is wrong. God is looking for faithful men and women who tremble at His Word, carry oil in their lamps, remain spiritually sensitive, and align themselves fully with Him in this hour.

May the church awaken from spiritual slumber and become a generation that values the presence of God, walks in continual fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and remains ready for the days ahead.
