Colossians 1:12-13 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed [us] into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

Lord, because of Calvary we come to seek and call on Your name.

We thank You for the sacrifice of Your dear Son and the price He paid for our sins and redemption that bought us out of the hands of the enemy.

We come to You with thanksgiving, appreciating You for taking everything that our fall brought on us; sins, pain, diseases and nailing them on the cross.

As You told the Israelites, “Whoever shall look to the bronze serpent, the poison of the serpent will be neutralized.” Lord, we look to the cross. (Numbers 21:9)

As your word says;

…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete [it] until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6

1 Thessalonians 5:24 He who calls you [is] faithful, who also will do [it.]

Father, we come before Your presence with assurance and confidence not in ourselves but in the finished work of our Saviour Jesus Christ, for what He did for us on the cross.

As your word says; “Jesus, You have become our righteousness, redemption, wisdom, and sanctification”. What we are or what we will ever be is who You are! On that cross of great exchange, You took what was ours and gave us what is Yours. (Galatians 2:20)

Colossians 2:14-15 [14] having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.[15]Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Lord, every piece of evidence, document, and writing that was against us legally because of what Adam did to us, You took it and nailed it on the cross.

You disarmed the enemy of all his powers for which he had stood for years accusing the saints. You made a public display of him. We still hear these words resounding through the corridor of eternity; “It is finished.”(John 19:30)

John 1:13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

You paid for our sin and its penalty, man is finally free. The life we live now is by the faith in the Son of God. In You, we live, move, and have our being.

Father, we thank You for the triumph of the cross in every area of our lives. We lift the cross in our lives so that healing will come to our bodies,  businesses and profits in our careers as ordained by God.

Hebrews 4:3 For we who have believed do enter that rest.

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all [you] who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Rest is in the finished work of the cross and appropriate it by faith. For Your Word says, “It is not about our exertion or our power but it’s You who shows us mercy through the cross” (Romans 9:16). The cross is Your mercy to humanity, we enter into this mercy in Jesus’ name.

By faith, we possess that which Christ paid for and enter into the finished work for our well-being in Jesus’ Name. Amen
