Paul stood out among the apostles because he chose to know nothing except Jesus. He was his WISDOM.

1 Corinthians 2:1-2 “And I, brethren, and when I came to you, did not come with excellence of SPEECH or of WISDOM declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”

Making Jesus your wisdom is what causes you to manifest the greatness and diverse manifestations in God.

1 Corinthians 2:3-5 “I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

Paul meant that he abandoned weakness, fear, etc. because there is a place where human wisdom comes to an end.

Your faith will collapse if it is in the wisdom of men but when it is put in the power of God (a revelation of God’s wisdom), you will go from one step of glory to another (1 Corinthians 2:4).

Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own UNDERSTANDING; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Directing your paths means being ordered by the wisdom of God which causes you to have an advantage over everyone who doesn’t know God.

1 Corinthians 2:6-7 “But we speak the WISDOM of God in a MYSTERY, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,”

This wisdom had been hidden but it has now been revealed in mysteries.

We tap into it by speaking in tongues (mysteries) which is the language of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 14:2 “For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit, he speaks mysteries.”

The Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit) unveils and interprets secrets (mysteries) in our minds shooting us to levels we have never known before every time we speak in other tongues.

That’s what caused people to wonder about the apostles (Acts 4:13).

They were not so intelligent but the more they spoke in the Holy Ghost, the more their minds were infused with DIVINE WISDOM giving them excellence in their work.

Don’t be ashamed of praying in other tongues because that is how we win and have relevance in this kingdom.
