Ecclesiastes 1:9–10 That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, ‘See, this is new’? It has already been in ancient times before us.
The secret of our lives is found in our daily routines, not in one-time events. The spiritual world operates by laws, and these laws produce results through consistency. The principles of God’s Kingdom are timeless and have been repeated since ancient times.
Just as a farmer must continue tending the field after sowing a seed, so believers must consistently apply God’s principles to experience the harvest they desire.
One of the spiritual laws that governs God’s Kingdom is the law of speaking. Unfortunately, one of the greatest challenges believers face is speaking rightly. This is not limited to the words from our mouths; for the greatest voice is what resides in the heart. A person may speak one thing outwardly while their heart communicates something entirely different.
Hebrews 11:1-3 …[3] By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Your world, environment, and atmosphere are shaped by the words you consistently speak. This spiritual law works for all people, whether born again or not. So anyone who wants to change their life must begin by carefully guarding their words.
God upholds the entire creation by the power of His Word. This shows how seriously He treats His Word; everything He has spoken functions as a law and works universally. Yet many believers unknowingly cancel their prayers through negative confessions. (Hebrews 1:1–3)
Psalms 103:20 Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.
When we speak God’s word, the angels are strengthened to act on our behalf. Conversely, when we speak words that contradict His word, the enemy is empowered. Words carry spiritual power—they can kill, bind, and ensnare (Proverbs 6:2).
This is what happened to the children of Israel: though God had promised them the promised land, their negative words provoked Him, ultimately blocking them from entering the promised land. (Numbers 14:28)
Isaiah 55:10-11
Every Word God gives can never fail; it must find fulfilment. That is why every time God wants to do something, He sends His Word.
Words are laws; the moment you release a word, whether you are conscious of it or not, it will work for you either positively or negatively. The word will either make or destroy us, as King Solomon concluded, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21).
James 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
We have been called to inherit the blessing; we can not curse. Speak the blessing consistently, and you will see results in every aspect of your life. For the words we speak have an impact in the spirit realm.
The tongue is what controls our lives; use your tongue to align yourself (your life) with what God has already done for you by consistently speaking it until it manifests in your life. God’s hand is revealed to men and women who believe His report. (James 3:4–5, Isaiah 53:1)
Consistency makes what you believe become truth in your life.
