SENSITIVITY TO CHANGING SEASONS

Oct 16, 2025

Mark 10:51 So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”

Just as Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, sensed a change in the atmosphere as Jesus passed by and discerned His healing presence, the Lord is calling us to adjust our expectations in this season that has shifted over our lives. Blind Bartimaeus moved from begging for money to crying out for sight. Many times, God’s people miss divine visitations because they remain trapped in old expectations.

Beloved, when seasons shift, God expects our faith, our expectation, and our motives to shift too. The amount of light within you determines how much God can do through you. God will not perform beyond the revelation you carry. He is limited by the level of your expectation. If blind Bartimaeus had requested money as usual, he would have received money and died a blind, wealthy man.

Power flows when we align with the will of God and remain sensitive to divine instructions. Moses walked into Egypt armed only with a rod and a word, yet God used him to reduce Egypt to its knees. At the wedding in Cana, Mary’s sensitivity to divine instruction turned a moment of shame into glory when water became wine. In both cases, obedience unlocked the miraculous. When our hearts are rightly aligned, heaven releases power to confirm divine purpose.

We must therefore pray like Jesus did in Gethsemane, “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42), because sometimes we do not even know what we truly need to change our lives. When Jesus surrendered His will, heaven released angels to strengthen Him. Divine strength (help) flows when the human will yields.

If we will rise above the ordinary and discern the times, God will entrust us with assignments that shape generations. This is not a season for small dreams or selfish prayers. God is calling us to influence nations, to build legacies that outlive us, and to reveal Jesus in every sphere of life. Our businesses, careers, and ministries must no longer revolve around “me, myself, and I,” but around Christ and His Kingdom.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, open my eyes to discern when seasons change. Refine my desires and align my motives with Your will. Help me to see beyond the ordinary and reach for that which will transform lives and generations. Give me what will change my condition and glorify Jesus through me. Amen.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED. WE LOVE YOU.
