Romans 5:20… But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
The antidote to the decadence and evil we see here on earth is the multiplied Grace of God. For this Grace to be made available, there must be people holding on to the horn of the altar crying to God for more grace.
For us to continually attract this grace, there is a heart posture we have to adapt in the realm of the spirit.
One of them is humility. The Bible tells us;
James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: [” God resists the proud,] [But gives grace to the humble.”]
A humble man knows without God’s grace, he or she is nothing. This must cease being a slogan you say to make you feel spiritual, it must be a real condition of your heart. It is a man with such a posture that will always secure the grace of God.
1 Peter 5:6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
How does a man humble himself? Through prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting is another system God has put in place in His economy by which we can secure His grace.
Prayer is not a way to show off spirituality. It is a means by which we lay hold on His garment and tell God that we are weak men in need of His grace.
When we come to pray, we secure grace and receive mercy to help us in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
That’s why the bible says:
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,
A man who knows to secure God’s grace is the one who keeps rising. That’s why you must learn to wear the garment of humility twenty-four hours and keep on your knees. James 4:6 and Luke 1:53
When we pray and seek the Master, we are not in a show; we are simply telling God we are weak men who need His mercy and grace. Job 23:12 and Luke 18:9-14
