PLACING A DEMAND ON THE CROSS

Apr 19, 2024

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

Our heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Jesus and everything He did for us at Calvary.

We thank You for the blood that has given us access to You.

You were wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity, bore our pain, diseases, and infirmities and by your stripes, we were healed. (Isaiah 53:4)

Thank You Holy Spirit for the cross. We look away from everything else and look to the cross, as it was in the days of Moses (Numbers 21:9)

1 Corinthians 15:56-57 The sting of death [is] sin, and the strength of sin [is] the law. But thanks [be] to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We come to You Jesus, who paid the penalty for our sins, took our pain, and disease and died in our place.

Thank You for taking away the sting of sin, death has lost its grip on the souls of men.

Now, we consider Your grace our dear Lord Jesus, though You were rich, You became poor so that we may come into true riches. We reach out by faith and receive everything that You paid for us.

Lord, we cannot live lower than what You paid for. Everything about our lives; our bodies and the works of our hands must respond and yield to the sacrifice of Your son.

As You said in Your Word;

In My Father’s house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so,] I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. John 14:2

Oh Lord, help us explore the rooms in You, that we may not settle for that which we know. Help us fully take advantage of that which You have paid for us.

We thank You, Lord, because of the price You paid with Your body and blood. This is why we cannot let go but place a demand on the finished work of the cross. (John 19:30)

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Whatever came with the fall of Adam; sickness, disease, weakness, etcetera, has got no right to stay in our bodies, homes and churches.

Father, I place my demand on the cross, let the cross have its perfect work all over the prayer land.

Sin, pain, disease and sickness can no longer tread over us because you destroyed the power of sin on the cross.

Lord, by the Spirit of grace, cause us to enter into the very substance of Your finished work on the cross.

Revelation 5:5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

The seals that kept us in bondage to the works of the enemy, were broken by the blood of the lamb. Lord, we apply the blood to our salvation.

You answer by Your Word, Name and Blood, I come by these three which are speaking better things right now, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.

PASTOR BEN OCHOLA.
