God is no respecter of persons, He is rich unto all who call on Him. (Romans 10:12)

We are all sons but it is the demand you place on God’s grace and mercy that makes the difference.

Hebrews 4:3 … although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Every generation you see where mighty things happened, some people placed a demand on what God had already provided. We can be lazy all the way through or we can get to God and tell Him like Jacob said; ” I will not let you go until my story is changed”. (Genesis 32:26-27)

As a generation, we must lay hold of the horn of the altar until there is practical, physical evidence because God has already given Himself a hundred percent to every generation but there is a price to pay.

Hebrews 11:6 …for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

He is not a rewarder of hazardous seekers but they that are diligent and consistent in and out of season; whether you feel it or not because you know that your life depends on Him.

This is the approach that each one of us must have in prayer. God is too expensive, He doesn’t give Himself easily to anyone crying, you must prove that you want Him.

Matthew 15:22-28 [22]And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” [23]But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us”[24] But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” [25] Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” [26]But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw [it] to the little dogs.”[27]And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” [28]Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great [is] your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

If we are easily put off by things that look like contradictions to our beliefs, then we won’t go far in this kingdom.

You must make a demand and it must be real, consistent, and persistent. That is why when the Bible describes to us the kind of prayer that will bring results in our lives, it brings us the story of Elijah. (James 5:16-18)

Many men prayed in the Bible but why is Elijah’s prayer different? This is because of the level of persistence that this man of God portrayed in his prayer; he never let go no matter the noise. He stayed on his knees because he knew God does not lie.

Isaiah 42:22 But this [is] a people robbed and plundered; All of them are snared in holes, And they are hidden in prison houses; They are for prey, and no one delivers; For plunder, and no one says, “Restore!”

God is waiting to hear the voices of men and women who are consistently crying out; ” Lord, restore!”.
