Romans 5:3-4 And not only [that,] but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

In my experience with believers, very few of them understand ‘perseverance’. You will not see or experience much with God if you do not have the grace to persevere. This is because perseverance works out character.

Isaiah 50:7 ” For the Lord GOD will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.

Jesus stood against every opposition and He did not let anything that came towards Him deter Him because He was focused.

As believers, it is very good to be excited or happy when God gives a word, but excitement is just an emotion. There has to be a resolve within your Spirit that God has said it and no matter what happens, keep the focus and run with the word. (Luke 8:15)

We live in a microwave generation that wants everything instantly but this does not work with God. As you journey more with God, you need to trust His wisdom; that He is faithful, true to His word and that He will fulfill whatever He has spoken to you. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

All spiritual activities including Prayer, fasting, seeking God, giving, etcetera, are all kinds of well doing that we must hold on to against all odds.

Sadly, many give up on well doing at the point of their breakthrough. I pray you won’t be like that. Watch your confession, feelings and imagination because everything that you do is a seed and the fruit for your planting shall surely come.

Romans 4:18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, [ “So shall your descendants be.”]

Negativity must have come Abraham’s way but he was persuaded and convinced that He who gave him the word had the power and ability to bring it to pass. Each one of us has to convince ourselves to believe God for the fulfillment of what He has spoken.

Luke 18:8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?

Will Jesus still find you believing? Don’t be a thermometer whose temperature goes up and down depending on the weather, but a thermostat that regulates the temperature. If the Lord has spoken, be still and stay focused.

Psalms 34:5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed.

Where you look determines how far you will go in life. Are you looking for a man or a job? Set your eyes on Jesus because you determine how far you want to go and how much you want God to bring out of you. This is not God’s issue but yours. (Hebrews 12:2)

If God is everything you have, you will throw yourself in Him. Unfortunately, some people have settled for an average life yet for each one of us, there is a great destiny in our lives. However, this takes linking up with God who authored it, to bring out the best in you.
