PAY ATTENTION TO GOD’S WORD AND HIS INSTRUCTIONS

Dec 2, 2023

Exodus 20:5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, [am] a jealous God, ….

It is so amazing that the children of Israel even while they were standing under the canopy of the glory of God, in the visible manifest presence of God still carried idols in their hearts. A man can serve God, preach, and minister yet there are things he is engaged in that do not honor God.

God is gracious, merciful, loving, and patient but we should not mistake His patience for approval. He is patient with you and I so that we can repent and turn away from the evil practices.

Where we are going as the body of Christ, seasons are changing, God wants to do something awesome but He demands each one of us to align our lives and actions.

1 Samuel 2:12-17

Do not be like the sons of Eli who went to the point of being a reprobate beyond return and they died just like that.

God gave them time to turn but they refused; that is the deceitfulness of sin. The more you practice it, the harder your heart becomes until you get to a place where you can no longer come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. You become reprobate.

1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

What are those idols you are carrying in your life that are standing between you and God? Do not toy with sin or things that the Holy Spirit is telling you to walk away from.

As we desire and long to ascend the higher heights in God, there are ways we must weigh off because, throughout the scriptures, God’s standard never changes: He demands us to be Holy. (Hebrews 12:1)

We must come to a place in our walk with God where we are submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit, surrender to the Word, and let God have His place. (Matthew 6:33)

Deuteronomy 28:1 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.

God’s Word and instructions are the formula for lifting and walking in abundance.  Anything outside the voice and principles of heaven won’t last long. So, be patient with the Word of God and His instructions.

Ecclesiastes 3:14 I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does [it,] that men should fear before Him.

You and I are safe obeying the instructions of God; never allow anything to be bigger and greater than God’s Word in your life. Anything bigger and greater than the instruction of God in your life has become an idol to you.

You do not need to attract judgment towards yourself but look into your heart; what are those things that the Word of God and the Holy Spirit has convicted you about? If you really love the Lord, you should mean it.

Jeremiah 29:10-12 [10] For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. [11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.[12] Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

God has already done everything for us, all that we need to do is cry out to Him to open our eyes such that we can see the prophetic blueprint of our lives.

After the plan of God has been unveiled to us, the next step is to take that plan that God has shown us in prayer and in accordance with what He has said.

Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find [Me,] when you search for Me with all your heart.

God reveals to us His plans such that we can seek Him, not His plans. It is in our seeking Him that He unveils the formula through which the plans can come to pass.

I pray that you will follow God’s format of doing things: He shows you such that you can seek Him with all your heart until you find Him. When you find Him, He makes all things real in your life.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
