OUR GOD REMEMBERS OUR GOOD WORKS

Mar 25, 2025

Isaiah 49:15-16 15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her quiet womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

God never forgets our good works, unlike men who do. For this reason, we should always look to Him and continually seek His face regardless of any circumstance that may come our way.

The Bible is filled with testimonies of men and women who looked to God, and He remembered them.

For example, He remembered Noah and opened the Ark; He remembered Sarah, Rebecca, and Rachel and opened their wombs; He remembered the covenant He made with Abraham, and He sent Moses and delivered the children of Israel.

God kept remembering His covenants and promises until the coming of Jesus Christ.

Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’),

Jesus became a curse that the covenant God made with Abraham or the Abrahamic blessing may come to us. Today, we have access to His presence because His blood was shed on the cross and connected us to the Abrahamic blessing. (Genesis 12:1-3)

Now that we are connected to the blessing of Abraham, we should never grow weary of doing good because, in due season, we reap a harvest of what we have been sowing. (Galatians 6:9)

Ruth 2:11-13 [11] And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.

[12] The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”…

This is what God can do to people who have sold themselves to doing good. We do not know who told Boaz, but a report went ahead of Ruth about all that she had done for her mother-in-law, Naomi. You will never know who will say good things about you; that is why you have to do good consistently.

When your heart is right and you love to do good, God will make sure He orders your steps in the right place and connects you to the right people. Ruth became a voice in a foreign land; the one who was a maid became the owner of fields because of doing good.

Perhaps you are out there doing good to people but it seems like nothing good is happening to you; do not kill the seeds you are sowing for we have a God who remembers. Continually sustain a heart of doing good and in due time God will remember you. (Habakkuk 3:17-18, Genesis 40)

Acts 10:1-34

God answers prayers, and He sees your good works: do not stop even if nothing good is happening to you. Do it because your heart is committed to God, and in due season, He will make sure you see a mighty harvest of love, kindness, and every kind of good seed you have been sowing to the honor and glory of His Name.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
