Ephesians 2:13-14 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.
It has always been the Father’s desire for the jews and gentiles to be united in the person of Jesus. This is why scripture says; in Christ Jesus, there is no jew or gentile, Greek or Hebrew, slave or free. (Galatians 3:28)
The bible says that what matters is the new creation. Therefore, we no longer identify with race, tribe, status or gender, for our focus as believers is that we have been made one; a new creation in Christ.
2 Corinthians 15:16-17 [16] Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
If we want to benefit from this life we have received in Christ Jesus, we should look beyond what the world has categorised us into. This is because anything else apart from the new creation, will reduce you to carnality.
Irrespective of your tribe, if you are in Christ, you have become a new creation so you no longer look at yourself after the flesh but after the Spirit.
Luke 24:16-17
When Jesus rose from the dead, the disciples could not discern Him because they were looking for the one they had known after the flesh, yet the Jesus that rose from the dead was no longer to be known after the flesh but the Spirit.
In whatever you do, know nothing after the flesh. Look beyond the physical, see deep in the Spirit and let that be your ground for discernment, to make judgement, decisions or choices in life.
Genesis 3
Adam and Eve fell because they relied on their five senses. I can guarantee you that the mistakes many of us have made or will ever make in life, are a result of reducing our choices or decisions to the five senses.
The same thing happened to Jesus in the wilderness when satan wanted Him to lean on the five senses but Jesus functioned by a higher law. He didn’t allow His five senses to control His speech, hence He overcame the devil and His temptations. (Matthew 4:1-11)
Genesis 25:29-34 …34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright.
Esau lost his first place by bowing to the demand of the five senses. He despised what God ordained for his life(birthright) and threw it away because of a few minutes of physical hunger, which he could have tolerated.
How many of you are bowing down to pleasures of sin, five minutes of pleasure and you lose your place. The carnal mind/ satan will put these demands/pressures on you because he knows that when you fall short of the demands of heaven and bow to the demands of the flesh, you will pay for it.
You must function from a higher dimension because the our five senses are manipulated by the world and satan.
As we pray and seek the Lord’s face, may He help us and let our desire be one: to satisfy the demand of the Spirit of God.
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
