OCCUPYING YOUR GOD-ORDAINED SPHERE

Sep 2, 2025

Psalms 110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

In this Scripture, we see that David’s strength was not in weapons of the flesh, but in the Lord’s authority that rested upon him. His host became “like the host of God” because he operated by a higher intelligence – the intelligence of the Spirit. Likewise, Joseph rose to power in Egypt not by human wisdom, but by the Spirit of God, granting him divine insight.

The key to occupying your God-ordained sphere is the rod of authority. In the Old Testament, this rod symbolised God’s power and presence resting upon His chosen. In the New Testament, this rod is revealed in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, empowering every believer to rule and manifest God’s kingdom. Without this rod, man cannot effectively rule; but with it, darkness is restrained and the purpose of God prevails.

When you carry the rod of God’s Spirit, your light spreads, your influence grows, and you manifest uniqueness in your calling. Occupying your sphere is not about competing with others, but about expressing the portion of Christ that has been entrusted to you. United in Spirit, but not uniform in assignment, the Church advances as each believer rules in their sphere with God’s authority.

Prayer: My Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me into a unique sphere of influence. Teach me to wait on You until I know what You have written concerning me. Endue me with the rod of Your Spirit and authority, that I may rule in the midst of enemies, restrain darkness, and manifest Your light in my generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED. WE LOVE YOU.
