John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

No matter what you are going through, never allow it to leave you worse than it found you. You will be hurt, disappointed, let down, betrayed, denied or frustrated, but do not allow it to create an environment that allows the enemy to prosper with his work in your life.

Oftentimes, people may disappoint you but allow your good works to be a seed. Do not hold on to people/things, let it go for your harvest will come from somewhere else.

Do not allow yourself to be a victim of people, release those who hurt you so that the Holy Spirit can do something better through your life. Remember, God has a lot more for you than what has left your life.

Genesis 45:4-8 And Joseph said to his brothers,… “I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt. 5 But now, do not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. 6 For these two years the famine has been in the land, and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvesting. 7 And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. 8 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.

Joseph did not know that what his brothers did to him was pushing him to his destiny, however, he never let their deeds get to his heart. Nobody can stop your destiny as long as you do not allow their garbage to remain in you. Just shake them off because you carry destiny inside of you; you carry the life of God.

You are not under the mercy of men but God. Therefore, do not let what people do to you limit what God can do with and through you. God has arranged people to make sure you fulfil your destiny. Release people and do not allow bitterness to fill your heart, but let the healing grace of God heal your heart.

Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

Your future is better than your present. Keep your eyes on Jesus who is the author and the finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Men come and go but Jesus will stay in your life forever.

God knows how to organize people who will come into your life and be a blessing with no strings attached. Do not put a limit on God and shut the door on him because of what has left. Open your heart to Him and let His love find expression through your heart; to love again because this is your nature.
