MINISTERING IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD

Mar 2, 2023

The day Adam and Eve were cast out of the presence of God, everything God pronounced over the earth and their lives began to find manifestation because the only preservation they had was in the presence of God.

Genesis 3:23 therefore the LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.

Man only finds his full expression, satisfaction, fulfillment, completion, and rest in the presence of God. Outside the presence, man is only a shadow of himself. We were designed to live in His presence as our habitat and that’s why Satan fought and he is still fighting to keep those who are called by God from this glorious presence.

Nehemiah 8:10… Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

The joy is not in money or things but in His presence. The Lord is calling us as a body of Christ to journey back into His presence.

Our services, meetings, and gatherings will bring so much to saints if we can rediscover and allow them to walk into that place where the great Monarch of Zion takes residence in our midst.

Psalms 42:1-2 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

David knew it and ran away from everything: kingship, wives, wealth, victories, and praise of men. He said: “I want to find that place where I am complete and have rest;” which was in the presence of God.

Read 1 Samuel 1, 2,3

1 Samuel 3:1-2 Now the boy Samuel ministered to the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was rare in those days; [there was] no widespread revelation. 2 And it came to pass at that time, while Eli [was] lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow so dim that he could not see,

The light was going off in the house of the Lord and darkness had begun to fill the entire nation; that was the time that little boy Samuel was born.

Before we knew him as a little boy with no title but when he started ministering before the presence of the Lord in a time when His word was rare, everything changed.

It is in the presence of God that Samuel received the ordination of a prophet as he ministered to the Him. From that day, everything that he spoke never fell to the ground and an entire nation began to realize that there is a prophet.

1 Samuel 3:3-4 and before the lamp of God went out in the tabernacle of the LORD where the ark of God [was,] and while Samuel was lying down, that the LORD called Samuel. And he answered, “Here I am!”

For the first time in along time, the voice of God was heard in the temple that was dead.

Let us go back to that place of ministering to the Lord because it is in that place that you will receive your ordination. Samuel rose to be one of the greatest voices that have ever been heard in the Old Testament.

There are businesses, careers, ministries, and ordination that will shake nations as you minister in the presence of God. I advise you tonight to come back and minister to God like Samuel. That little man Samuel brought an entire nation back to God.
