MAN AS A METHOD OF GOD’S INTERVENTION ON EARTH

DAY THIRTEEN OF FASTING

Psalms 40:6-8 [6] Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. [7] Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. [8] I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.”

God has no hands, legs, mouth etc except yours; you are all He has to do His will here on earth.

Jesus said in John 6:38, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me”. Jesus is our pattern man; He sets the pace and example for us to follow.

Hebrews 10:5-8

For God to do something here on earth, He needs a body. But He doesn’t force us, He will ask for our permission.

Throughout the scriptures, God asked men and they said yes to His will and when they yielded themselves, God used them as saviours to change their families and nations.

Adam and Eve were created and given an assignment to take what God had put in heaven around the earth. Jesus amplifies it to us in the Lord’s prayer;

Matthew 6.10 – Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

The sole agenda why you are here is that the will of God can find visibility on earth through you and until you locate it, you cannot be successful.

After salvation, the next important thing that you need to find out is why you are here. Your faithfulness to God can only be counted on the promise of what God has called you to do.

That is why our desire for God’s will must be above everything else in this life. If you want to attract the help of God more than ever before, locate His will and stay there.

Exodus 3 and Acts 9

If there is a need for help on earth, God sends men. God located Moses in the wilderness when the children of Israel cried for deliverance in Egypt; God is still in the business of looking for men such that He interferes in the affairs of men.

So, God brings us into encounters to draw our attention and when we give Him attention, we then hear His voice concerning His will for our lives.

When Moses and Paul encountered Him, they came into alignment with His agenda. So when we encounter Him, we must be willing to change and embrace His will.

John 5:19 – Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

We are here on earth to do God’s will; our lives must mimic what is in heaven. We are living for God because we were created for Him.

The better things that God promised us this year are found in God’s will and not outside. Psalms 84:10

Colossians 3:22-24 GNT

Many of us have missed rewards because of eye service and yet we are the systems and methods that God wants to use at our workplace, neighbourhood, etc., to reveal Jesus. Everything we do must reveal Jesus. Philippians 1:21

2 Timothy 2.20-21 [20] But in a great house there are not only vessels of GOLD and SILVER, but also of WOOD and CLAY, some for honor and some for dishonor. [21] Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and USEFUL for the Master, prepared for every good work.

The gold, silver, wood, and clay refer to the different giftings that God has given us. However, they cannot be used in their crude form.

Some people are useless in the house of God. Why? Because they are crude: they have refused to cleanse themselves.

What have you done since the year began to ensure you are better than the previous years? You must make efforts to be better.

1 Samuel 17:40

The stones were many but David located the smooth ones. Are you smooth (worked on) enough to be located?

Remember it is not enough to be available, you must be usable. You just work on yourself to ensure that you are usable in the hands of the Master.

Hebrews 11.16… Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God,…

The above scripture means there are people whom God is not proud of. Can God be as proud of you as He was with Job? Job 1:8

This year is going to be better because you have decided to be better. Purpose to be a better friend, husband, wife, employee, boss etc.
