Then Jesus said, “When you lift the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He and that I do nothing of Myself; John 8:28

Anywhere the cross is lifted, people begin to experience the power of God and enjoy everything else Jesus paid for.

The Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, and many of the people of Israel died…. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten when he looks at it, shall live.”…Numbers 21:6-8

When the cross is not lifted in any life, Satan reigns, and his works are experienced. When men fix their eyes on Jesus at the cross, all their life’s problems get solved.

All man’s predicaments ( sickness, disease, poverty, etc) have their answer at the cross.

He was rich, yet for your sakes, He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich….2 Corinthians 8:9

Calvary is the answer to poverty, lack, joblessness, unproductivity in business, and all the works of the hand.

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. Isaiah 53:4

Jesus took all your pains and sicknesses and nailed them to the cross.

Hebrews 2:14 That through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Through death on the cross, the devil and his works were destroyed.

What is it your struggling with? Look around and you will observe that you are not releasing the cross in that particular area of your life.

Wherever the cross of Jesus is lifted, death, sickness, disease, poverty, etc flee away.

They went three days in the wilderness and found no water. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a TREE. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. Exodus 15:22-25

The cross ( TREE ) is the answer to any bitterness in your life.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; Galatians 2:20

Whatever Adam inherited from Lucifer at the fall (the old man and all his weaknesses-sickness, pain, death) were crucified on the cross.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced.

The basis for the Spirit of grace and supplication is Calvary. All our prayers and intercessions draw their strength from the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross.

All your prosperity, healing, deliverance, lifting, joy, life, and peace are found at the cross.

We do not put our faith in our prayers, fasting, or even in ourselves. We put our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary.

For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 2 Peter 1:16

The cross was not a fable, it is what restored us to being in the image of God. ( 1 Corinthians 15:45).
