LIVING IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOD’S WILL- A Consecrated Life

Dec 10, 2024

2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.”

God is calling us to a higher level of consecration such that His glory can find vessels to flow through and be revealed. Unfortunately, many believers have not fully sold themselves to heaven’s cause as they are still holding onto some idols even as they walk with God.

In Hebrews 9:6-7, the bible reveals to us the level of consecration a priest had to undergo and this is parallel to how each one of us has to consecrate ourselves today.

The high priest was the only one permitted to enter the Holy of Holies once a year where he could experience the Shekhinah (the light of the glory of God). The rest could not go in there because their level of consecration could not permit them.

How close do you want to walk with the Master? Are you contented with the level of fellowship and communion you have with God today, or is there a desire for more deep inside you?

Psalm 40:5-6 6 Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. 7 Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me

God is not moved by activities and sacrifices but by our obedience which is the key that unlocks us into the realms He has for us. We are not here for ourselves but to do the things He planned for us. (Hebrews 10:7)

Psalm 40:8 I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.”

A man or woman who wants to live a life that glorifies Jesus should live in accordance with God’s will; this is all that Jesus did. (John 5:18)

It is possible to do everything Godly yet in rebellion, a good example is Moses;

Numbers 20:7-12
God told Moses to speak to the rock, but he struck it. Although water came out, this was done in disobedience. This one incident disqualified both Aaron and Moses from entering the promised land.

The body of Christ today is saturated with people living a life of total disobedience and complete rebellion against God’s will; they are pursuing their agenda and do not care about God’s will.

As we pray, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and ears and give you a heart that obeys instructions. Pray that the fear of God may return to the hearts of men, from the pulpit to the one who sits in the pews.
