Genesis 1:26a Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;…
God has invested in you His image and likeliness; None of the creatures in all creation has this privilege but you; This is your most powerful investment and if you know how to use it, you will rise anywhere in the world to the glory of God.
If we are to rank, it is God, man, then angels. That is why we are seated with Christ in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 2:6)
Genesis 1:26b …let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
When you operate from a place of likeliness and the image of God, you begin to have dominion. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you draw all that you can from what He has invested in your spirit because one of His primary ministries is to conform you to the image of God who is Christ. (Romans 8:29)
In the place of conforming to the image of Christ, we function as gods. A study of Jesus’ life in the gospels is the best example of how we ought to operate here on earth.
However, living in the soulish realm will hinder us from tapping into the investment God has put in our spirits hence living and suffering like mere men. (Psalm 82:6-7)
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
The greatest battle in a believer is in the soul (mind). The soul must choose whether to align with the body or the spirit.
For this reason, we need to be transformed by renewing our minds with the Word of God so that we align with our spirits because if we don’t, our souls will align with our bodies and we will end up living like non-believers.
The Holy Spirit is helpless if He cannot have our souls and unless our souls come under the government of the spirit, we can be born-again but never enjoy the investment of God in us.
When the Holy Spirit makes us conform to the image of Jesus, He helps us fulfil God’s will on earth because the image of God would then yield to the Spirit of God just as Jesus did.
Job 1:10 – 21
Just like Job, we can live a lifestyle that the devil fails to have access to us. All that Job suffered was engineered from the spirit realm but its effects were seen in the physical though Job didn’t know it.
Real life is in the spirit dimension. Whatever we are engaged in, whether prayer, worship, etc, has to come from the spirit because whatever we are dealing with has its genesis in the spirit. Therefore, we should not handle life carnally. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
2 Kings 6:8-18
The problem of the church is blindness. Ask God to open your eyes and give you the spirit of revelation because the battles and conflicts we are dealing with are spiritual and need to be dealt with spiritually.
PRAYER:
Lord, open my eyes and give me the Spirit of revelation. Let the scales fall off so that I may see and deal with the real root of issues.
I ask You for seeing eyes, hearing ears, and a heart that perceives. May I not go through life like a mere man but let me operate like a child of God in Jesus’s mighty name, Amen.
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
