LET MY PEOPLE GO THAT THEY MAY SERVE ME

Oct 14, 2024

The House of God is a place for real people who don’t put on shows and have nothing to lose. We do not come to the presence of God to show strength and how much we know but to expose our vulnerabilities.

Some of us have no plan B or C; if God doesn’t come through, we are dead men. That is the attitude that each one of us should carry every time we are in the presence of God.

Isaiah 66:2 For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the LORD. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word.

Contrition of Spirit and brokenness is what causes God to look down. God has no business with strong people and is attracted to weakness.

Genesis 32:24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.

Jacob wrestled with God because he was a weak man. He wrestled to the extent that when his wife and children saw him leaping back home, they knew he had met with God.

May this be our story that when the world looks at us, they know something happened to us.

Exodus 7:16 And you shall say to him, “The LORD God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness”; but indeed, until now you would not hear!

God delivered the children of Israel so that they would serve (worship) Him. Our true service in whatever He has called us to do is our worship of Him.

God is trusting us to hand over our clans and families to Him. The reason He tells us to work is that we may serve Him wherever we are and as we do, our every other need will be met. He is not a son of man to lie: the children of Israel suffered for forty years but when the time came for them to leave Egypt, they moved out with gold that they did not dig.

No man loves us like God. He wants the best for us but all we need to do is to be faithful in the little things He has trusted us with.

Luke 16:10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.

We must learn to be content with what God has given us and the closer we get in our walk with God, the more we realize that the most powerful and important thing is love.

God does this because He loves us. He uses His power to show love, and that is the same thing that He wants us to do.

If we use the platforms He has given us to serve Him, we will be amazed at what God will do with our careers, children, marriages, etc.

STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
