Where would you and I be if it wasn’t for the cross of Jesus?  Jesus is and must always be the reason for everything we engage in.

Colossians 1:17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (NIV)

We better keep it at Jesus and as long as we maintain Jesus as the centre of everything, that is, Keeping it at, in, with, and for Jesus, Heaven will always back us up.

Let’s not be like some people who begin with Jesus but along the way introduce something else. We must daily examine our hearts to see if Jesus is still the reason.

Luke 24:13-15 Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus,…[15] So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them.

We must keep Jesus as the main focus in our thoughts, conversations, and whatever else we engage in. This is what will manifest the work of God in our lives whether consciously or unconsciously.

Many people are frustrated with life because they started with Jesus but introduced another ‘lord’ along the way. Do not participate in anything that Jesus is not the centre of because we are not our own; We belong to Him (1 Corinthians 6:19).

John 21:17 He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

Jesus loves to be loved, Do you love Jesus?

Jesus was saying if you want to be involved in His business, your priority is to love Him; If you love Him, you will not abuse (mistreat) His sheep.

Remember it is possible to have ministry/church without Jesus just like the church of Ephesus in Revelations 2:1-7

Let us keep it at Jesus because it is a man who keeps at Jesus that qualifies for His mercies 2 Kings 7:3-8
