Throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, the Bible points you to one person, Jesus Christ.

John 5:39 You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

Everything you see in the Bible is a substance of the Word ( Jesus). The entire salvation of man depends on Jesus.

Enoch, Noah, Moses, Elisha, Isaiah, Jeremiah, David, John, etc all came but could not bring humans back to God. Only Jesus, the seed of the Word did.

Acts 4:12 Nor is their salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Dependence on Jesus is what gives life meaning. When we take away Jesus, we fall apart.

The Son of God Jesus is the glue that holds everything together in God’s kingdom. He is the harness that binds everything.

Colossians 1:17 And He is before all things, and in Him, all things consist.
It’s all about Jesus!

Luke 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

The angels left heaven to come and see Him when He was born. They wanted to know how God looks like. For the first time, they saw the Father in Jesus.

If you want to see God look at Jesus.

He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? John 14:9

When the body of Christ gives Him His rightful place, the wonders, miracles, and glory we will see will amaze us. It’s more than a name, Jesus is everything to us.

Any leadership, ministry, man, or woman who obscures men from seeing Jesus is fake. We are here to reveal Him. When men come to our churches or fellowships, they need to find Him, not us!.

Many times, they have found men, social gatherings, merchandised businessmen, manipulators, control freaks, all that are nothing like Jesus.

Matthew 7:22-23 *Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Many will be chased away because they blocked men from seeing Jesus.

Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.”

Whatever we are engaged in, for example, prayer, fasting, and seeking God is to reveal Jesus and make Him known to men. He is the only Savior and answer to all the confusion, pain, and suffering among men.

The Gospel is all about Jesus!

John 12:32 And I, if I am lifted from the earth, will draw all people to Myself.”

When you lift up Jesus, men will be drawn, promotion and crowns will come to you.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Everything comes out of Him. When you lift Him up, everything will be added to you. That’s how the kingdom of God works!

Lifting Jesus is not a matter of words on your lips, it is a position of the inclination of your heart.

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness but denying its power.

Religion lacks transforming power because it does not do things out of Revelation.

When spiritual practices become a religion, a mere formula of survival, we can not tap into the blessings God has embedded in these graces so we miss out on certain dimensions in God.

May God give us the insight to walk into this scriptural truth that God has left with us. Let’s not play religion but put Jesus first in everything.
