Some People have left the church because they have been praying and praying though nothing seems to be working.

John 14:12-18 KJV

According to you, what can you liken to greater works in comparison to what Jesus did?

Greater works is not in the context of things but in the context of being.

The reason why your answers are not answered is because of the motive.

There are some things in prayer that you have not yet been given sufficient rank to ask for.

Even though man has been given authority and dominion, certain things are exclusively for God Himself. Even Jesus did not command angelic assistance but he prayed to the Father and they were sent.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We are alive today because we are squandering from an account that is running for us and the day that account gets dry you will see how your faith evaporates.

If Jesus is still in the office of interceding for us, What makes you think, you can survive without prayer?

There is no option to Prayer. As long as you are a Man, you ought always to pray and If you see a man who is not praying, he is not prayerless but fainting (in need of support) (Luke 18:1)

James 4:3 Ye ask, and RECEIVE NOT, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.

James said contrary to what Jesus said in Matthew 7:7. Most times we have turned God into an ATM but we fail to provide the password.

Alignment is what makes us receive in prayer because God will always bring resources to a man when he is in His primary alignment.

Every time there is no alignment in prayer you will always get something different from what you asked for.

Romans 8:26 NKJV

Our first challenge is “what to pray about” and “how to pray”.

By default, we do not know what to pray for and if you know what to pray for you may not know how to pray for it.

That’s why the Holy Spirit will bring real-time revelation that will bring you out of any challenge.

The need for real-time knowing of the will of God is very important. Even though God spoke that is the logos, what will make your life a success is the Rhema Word of God. Genesis 22:12.

Luke 11:1-3… And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread.

In this gospel, there are few things that we can bring into the context of our prayer.

  1. Our Father That talks of intimacy.

Intimacy in prayer brings results and opens the doors for blessings that maybe you did not pray about.

If you pray without Intimacy there is no guarantee of answers for your prayer(s).

It’s your motive that enhances intimacy with God. If God sees your life walking and drawing near to Him He walks close to us (John 15:11-20, James 4:8).

  1. Let your will be done IN earth

On earth means geographical location but in earth means within our lives because we are earthly vessels.

  1. Thy kingdom come

Kingdom advancement is where God begins to expand His kingdom Matthew 6:11.

  1. Need – bread

Before the fall God wanted man to have intimacy with Him, He could come in the cool of the day and fellowship with man for fellowship to grow.

That’s why not every need creates an opportunity for us to grow in the Lord, if needs become the center of our prayer then that comes from the fall of man.

5. Forgiveness

 Matthew 6:13

  1. Temptation- The evil one

You cannot pray longer and speak a miss.

Prayer can start as a verb but it must end as a noun.

When you pray longer you become prayer: transcend from a verb to a noun. You can become someone’s answer or an answer to a generation.

How to bring your desires into your hands

  1. You ask in His Name (Jesus) John 15:16

There is a place in the spirit where answers to prayers happen. It means these things will not bow but when you bring them to a place called the name of Jesus they will bow. (Philippians 2:10)

The Name of Jesus is simply where His will and your will meets.

  1. You pray by Faith in the Name of Jesus Acts 3:15-16

The reason why prayer works is because of the Faith we have in the Name of Jesus.

What Jesus has put together for you is fetched out by faith in the Name of Jesus.

  1. The revelation of the Name of Jesus Hebrews 1:3-4

When you have a revelation that you have a right to receive your inheritance from your Father through the finished work of Jesus Christ i.e. by inheritance and conquest (Colossians 2:15)

By revelation, you begin to know things that you ought to pray for and pray about it (Hosea 14:2).

  1. Appearance before God Psalms 42:1-3

Not every battle is found on the ground. Some battles are fought in the mind and once you are defeated in your mind then you will lose in the physical battle.

In prayer, God interacts with us in three dimensions: Father, friend, or as a judge and in warfare we make demands of Him as a Judge because there are accusations that stand before us so you need someone in that realm to defend you.

The appearance before God is what brings you into layers of authority to begin and even if the Judge does not want to listen to you, He will because you have appeared.

Do not stop praying until you appear. What makes you appear before God is a heartfelt prayer (James 5:16).

Every true prayer brings transformation in the life of a believer.
