Romans 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
We serve a God who extends the same measure of grace to every generation. Whoever you are, no matter what title or position has been conferred upon you, the Lord gives us the same audience.
According to Romans 5:2, each one of us has been given the same access to grace by faith in prayer. The question is: Are you taking advantage of what Jesus did for us on Calvary to give us access to grace and receive mercy to help you?
Are you too busy and caught up in daily pursuits to seek His face? Do you know how much you can accomplish when His grace engulfs you? Don’t make excuses; take time to wait on God and seek His presence because we all need His grace and mercy now more than ever.
James 4:6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
God gives us more grace as long as we are willing to take the correct posture and know in our hearts that without His grace, there’s nothing much we can do.
For this reason, God is laying it upon us to pray more because the more prayer there is in place and person, the greater the measure of grace is released. That’s why He says to us to come boldly to the throne of grace so that we may obtain mercy and find grace in times of need (Hebrews 4:16).
While mercy has to be poured, grace has to be found: it must be sought diligently. Just like Noah and Moses found grace, you have to go after grace in the place of prayer, fasting, and seeking. (Jeremiah 31:2,Isaiah 40:31)
2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Apostle Paul was hurt and persecuted; when he cried for rescue, God told him that the answer to his cry was grace. Grace is divine ability (God’s enablement) besides unmerited favor for any challenge you will ever go through.
To overcome this challenge, Paul went into a place of prayer to locate God’s grace to help him. God is no respecter of persons but is rich to all who call on Him. Can you be among the “all” who call on Him?
Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find [Me,] when you search for Me with all your heart.
Grace is available but on demand; we must find it. God is available to any man willing to take time and call on His Name. All He requires of us is honesty, complete brokenness, humility, sincerity, and truthfulness in our hearts.
It is my prayer that we will be humble and broken enough to realize that, without His grace and mercy, we are insufficient. May we let go of yesterday’s experiences and look unto God, who has decided to give Himself to any man willing to seek Him.
