Hebrews 6:19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.

Our hope in Christ is not a fleeting wish but a living reality. The writer of Hebrews describes it as an anchor of the soul, keeping us steady even when storms rage around us.

Jesus has already gone ahead, entering the very Presence of God on our behalf; and because He lives, our hope is secure, unshaken, and unfailing.

Faith and hope are inseparably linked. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and hope finds its stability in Jesus, who never disappoints. To stay in faith is to keep looking to Him—the One who promised and is faithful. Our circumstances may shift, but His Word never passes away. Heaven and earth may fade, but not one promise from God shall fail.

Today, let this assurance anchor your soul: God’s plan, His purpose, and His calling over your life will stand firm as long as you remain in faith. He is faithful and trustworthy.

In your daily walk, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus rather than the challenges around you. Hold firmly to the promises of God, knowing they never fail, and when doubts arise, declare His faithfulness and refuse to let go of your hope.

Prayer:

Father, my eyes are fixed on You. You are my hope and the heartbeat of my life. Thank You that in Christ I have an anchor for my soul, whích is sure and steadfast. Forgive me for the times I have doubted You or failed to trust fully in Your promises. Holy Spirit, strengthen my faith, steady my heart, and keep me looking unto Jesus. Let Your Word take shape in my life, and bring forth Your purpose in me and in my generation. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
