We have taken God’s Word casually as believers yet it’s The only tangible thing we have. That’s why we have become casualties of the devil.

You can not separate God from His word if you are to be effective in what He has called you to do.

Jesus Himself got to know what prophet Isaiah wrote about Him because He was acquainted with the Word ( Matthew 13:14 ).

The children of Israel were left with the Word (the law of Moses) which dictated and governed their lives and every time they abandoned it, they became victims of the nations around them.

Regardless of status, the Word is the only capital God has given to every believer.

Acts 1:4 He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;

Jesus didn’t leave His disciples with money, property, or any materialistic wealth but with the Word.

These were men who had been refused but when they held onto the Word that Jesus invested in them, their lives changed.

Matthew 8:5-8 *Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, * The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed.

The centurion knew that a Word from Jesus was enough to heal his servant.

Psalms 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, …

When the children of Israel cried to God, what we see is Moses yet God sent His Word in reality to deliver them.

He sends His Word every time He wants to do something in your life and you only rob yourself of the riches in His kingdom when you deny this truth.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, ….

Everything for example healing, wisdom, deliverance, promotion, etc is loaded and packaged in God’s Word.

2 Timothy 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

When the devil wants to destroy a generation, he takes the Word away from them.

May the Holy Spirit give us a hunger for the Word of God ( Amos 8:11 ).
