Do you have a revelation of God’s love? Do you comprehend the things that Jesus had to go through for me and you to be able to fellowship with the Godhead?

Angels don’t have this experience, the Patriots and Matriarchs of faith looked to see this day; they did not have what we have today. It takes a revelation of God’s love.

You cannot withhold anything from Him if you understand what Jesus had to go through for you.

Matthew 18:27-33

The moment we lack a revelation of God’s love and what He did for us, we will keep holding onto the little things.

Love cost God His only Son so that you and I may be able to stand today (John 3:16, Romans 5:8).

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

After getting a revelation of His love and what He did for you, then giving yourself to Him wholly becomes a very reasonable sacrifice.

It will be the expression of your gratitude towards what He did for you on the cross (Haggai 2:8, Psalms 50:10-11).

Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?(James 4:5)

God is so jealous of man when He sees his heart drawn to something else rather than Him because man is the only creature made with the life of God in order to relate with Him. (Genesis 1:26-27).

That is why our hearts should be into whatever we do for God (Mark 7:6).

Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself,….

Romans 14:7-8[7] For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. [8]For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

Men like Apostle Paul never regarded their lives because they got a revelation of what Jesus did for them. Their lives became of no value to them. They lived for Him that’s why they were able to accomplish a lot for God.

The reason the level of Christianity has gone low is that the church has not captured the revelation of God’s love towards us.

God has called us to Himself before marriage, ministry etc.; He is looking for lovers and not workers (Matthew 20:25).

2 Corinthians 5:13-14 (TPT) [13] If we are out of our minds in a blissful, divine ecstasy, it is for God, but if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. [14] For it is Christ’s love that fuels our passion and holds us tightly because we are convinced that he has given his life for all of us. This means all died with him,

When you capture the revelation of God’s love, it will fuel your passion in whatever you do for Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:15 (NLT) He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

Whom are you living for? Jesus is the only one who will never leave you. That is why nothing should take His place in your life. You will function better when He is in His rightful place.

If things are going wrong in your life, check the place of Jesus. It could be that ministry, marriage, work etc. have displaced Him.

Read John 21:15-17

God can never ask an angel if he loves Him. We are the only creature made in His image and with the capacity to love. God is looking for lovers, God Lovers. That’s why we need to draw near to Him again every day. (James 4:8).

John 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

You prove your love for Jesus by obeying Him. Let us be radically obedient. Whatever He says, we do it immediately because God is looking for people who tremble at His Word (Isaiah 66:2).

We need to choose daily, whether we get closer to God or further away. Every choice we make either draws us closer to Him or further away. (Deuteronomy 30:19).

Let us choose God over everything else (job, career, marriage, ministry, etc.) but this is only possible when we capture the revelation of God’s love.
