1 John 3 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

As we seek the face of the Lord and call on His Name, our submission, surrender and prayer should be a result of our understanding of His Love.

The only way we can show appreciation for what God has done for us, is to live for Him because there is nothing we can ever give Him. when we were at our worst; in our most sinful state, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

Genesis 3:9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

Adam and Eve disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered and death was activated. Man legally handed the devil access to his life but even though man disobeyed God and began to run away from Him, He pursued them.

You could have left ministry or church because you have been hurt or disappointed but God has never given up on you. He is still pursuing man because He invested His image and likeness in us.

God’s voice is asking, ‘Where are you hiding?’ Hear His voice today calling you back to Himself.

Genesis 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves waist coverings.

Adam and Eve tried to cover their nakedness in vain. Then, God took off the fig leaves and covered them with animal skin (Genesis 3:21). This was the beginning of the manifestation of God’s heart and pursuit of man.

God knows you are encumbered and though you may be trying your level best to work it out or even cover up through religion, all your efforts are in vain. There is nothing you can do on your own to try and correct the wrongs that have happened.

If God cannot give up on you, then why do you give up on yourself? Parents, friends, your community and society can give up on you but hear the voice of the Lover of your soul, whose image you still carry. He can never give up on you as long as you are willing to say, ‘Here I am, Lord’ because He is always in control.

1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never fails.

You may have gone through divorce, betrayal or abuse but remember that there is nothing that the love of God cannot handle. Can you accept and allow His love to bring transformation and restoration to your life?

The love of God is what drew Adam and Eve from the garden, preserved them from eternal condemnation and brought them to eternal salvation. Yield yourself to the Holy Spirit and allow the love of God to pick you up, repair and restore you.

John 12:32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”

John 19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

The answer to all the pain, failure, fear and questions you have is the cross of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto your salvation, healing, restoration and life. All you have got to do is say, ‘Lord Jesus, I accept and receive of You.’ Embrace it because this is where we end and God starts. (Romans 1:16)
