Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
The Lord is your shield and your great reward. Do not be afraid. There is no greater reward in life than God to reward you with Himself.
You may desire all the worldly things, which you may call ‘living the life,’ but these are all vanities. God is the greatest reward man can ever have; that is why there is nobody like Abraham.
Even Jesus could not escape Abraham; in fact, He came to bring us into the Abrahamic blessings because God promised the whole earth to Abraham.
Galatians 3:14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
We, the Gentiles, are in Christ; therefore, Jesus came so that we could find a place in Abraham. The promise to Abraham is not silver or gold, good as they are, as fruits, but the promise to him was the Holy Spirit. (Luke 11:12-13)
If you have the Holy Spirit, you have everything. That is why Abraham refused to sleep in skyscrapers as much as he could afford, but lived in tents because he was looking for a city whose architect and builder is God (Hebrews 11:10).
May God give us a heart like Abraham: a heart so dead to material stuff to the extent that he was dead to his only son, Isaac. This was why God decided to give the whole earth to him.
Exodus 2:24 So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Nothing is as powerful as a covenant: you have a covenant with God, written in the blood of Jesus, that cannot be broken. When the Israelites were abused in Egypt, they cried out to God, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham.
You have a covenant with God. If God can remember His covenant with a mortal man, how much more will He remember the covenant He made with the blood of Jesus for your life!
Genesis 15:12-21
God made a covenant with Abraham, but by Himself, because in His infinite wisdom, He knew Abraham would err. He gave Abraham a deep sleep, signifying that He was the sole guarantor of the covenant. Abraham was the silent partner in this covenant; he woke up when everything was finished. This is the grace and mercy of God that powers our lives.
If God can commit Himself to a natural man like that, how much more for you, the child of God, whom Jesus shed His blood for!
God repeated this when He came down again in the body of Jesus to make a covenant with you —He made a covenant with Himself on our behalf. This is God’s grace and mercy towards you. (2 Corinthians 5:19)
Our receipt of redemption is the cross of Jesus, which we present before the Father for His clearance. Because of this, you will make it in life.
2 Kings 13:18-19 [18] Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. [19] And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”
When Elisha was about to die, the king visited him. He told the king to take the arrows and shoot. When he did strike three times only, he was told that those were the only arrows of deliverance.
This fight is not about shooting three times but five or six times till destruction, because whatever you shoot will never appear in your lineage again. Your children must never fight the demons you fight; therefore, put up a resistance, and strike because you are on the winning side. This is a month of recovery: recovery is here; you will bring joy to your family.
In conclusion, do not have the backbone of a tomato plant; you must have a steel backbone and be stubborn in spirit. Cultivate a rebellious spirit against darkness and the work of wickedness and strike.
STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU.
