Joshua 1:1-3 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, Moses, my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, you, and all these people, to the land which I do give to them,…

Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before you all the days of your life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with you: I will not fail you, nor forsake you.

Moses single-handedly brought an entire nation out of bondage because God was with him. Something happens to a man when he is dressed with God.

God was telling Joshua that what made Moses different was that He was with him.

For anyone to be somebody, the presence of God is key.

Exodus 4:2-3 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in your hand? And he said A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses fled from before it.

Moses gave his rod to God that it became the rod of God.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He, Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” …Hebrews 13:5

What will rid one of covetousness, anxiety, and greed is knowing that God is always with them.

Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”…Matthew 28:20

The key factor in a person’s life is having an awareness and consciousness of God with them.

Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied…1 Samuel 17:45

What made David so different from all the men in the battle was the awareness of God’s presence upon his life. ( 1 Samuel 17).

All the people who wrote the bible were aware that God was with them.

The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. ( 2 Cor 3:6) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, …(2 Timothy 3:16*)

God gave us His word and is fully committed to it.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away…Matthew 24:35

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success…Joshua 1:8

To cultivate an awareness of the presence of God, you have to be a person attached to His Word.

You must take off time to intentionally study and meditate on the Word of God daily.

Do everything it takes to get the Word of God in your mouth, heart, and mind to be successful and prosperous.

Spend a considerable amount of time meditating on the Word of God daily.

The Word carries in it the doing ability. As you meditate upon it day and night, power is released into your soul to act on it.

Do not rush into doing. Spend a considerable amount of time meditating and speaking the Word first then the power will be released and you will find yourself performing what you are meditating upon.

As you do this, God will release divine insights, wisdom, and strategies. You will also subdue every hardship and challenge that you face throughout the day.

1 Kings 4:29-31 And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the seashore. And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

Solomon downloaded something from heaven that outdid all the wise men of the day. This is not taught or acquired from schools or Universities. It is wisdom got only from God.

John 1:1-2,… In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

Begin with the Word daily by studying, speaking, and meditating upon it.
As you meditate on it, you will soon hear the voice of God because it is the first line of His interaction with man. He is the Word and the author of it.

Matthew 4:4…Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Just as you feed your body daily, you too need to intentionally feed your spirit. The Word of God is the food that nourishes your spirit.

Remember, you are a spirit being having a human experience!.
