Romans 1.17 – For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

God has a million ways of doing things but His righteousness (way of doing things) is revealed from faith to faith.

None of us is disadvantaged, we all began with the same measure of faith at salvation but God expects our faith to grow. Romans 1:16-17

God is self-existing and self-sustaining; we don’t contribute to His sustenance. Therefore, the only things that need to be sustained are those that came from God.

Who is God?

John 4.24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

God is a spirit and since everything came from God, their origin was in the spirit. The most original beings (the male and female) that were created were in the spirit (Genesis 1:27).

Hebrews 11.3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

The natural man uses the visible things but when you enter this kingdom, you seize functioning like a natural man and understand by faith.

Romans 4:17

The things referred to are those that are not perceived by the five senses; God calls those things that are not as though they are.

You must go beyond the things that are perceived by the five senses because faith calls those things that are not as though they are.

2 Kings 6.15-16 [15] And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” [16] So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

Elisha wasn’t moved while Gehazi was shaking because he had seen; Elisha was not seeing with his physical eyes but Gehazi was bound by his physical senses.

We must be men who see beyond the five senses and use the sixth sense; which is faith.

Genesis 1

God said, “Let there be….” and whatever He said was so. All that God spoke came to pass because God is a spirit and the language of the spirit is faith.

What does faith do?

Romans 4.17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed–God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Faith calls those things that are not as though they are; faith deals with the spiritual things and as a believer, you must rise above the five senses.

You will never know faith if you are bound to five senses. You are a spirit being; you must rise above your senses.

The law of faith is a higher law that when it is applied, rises above the same natural and superimposes the spiritual over the natural.

Hebrews 11.1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Mark.11.24 – Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Before having, you receive and faith is the evidence that you have received it. Faith takes the place of what you have received until it translates into the tangible.

Romans 1:17

Are you righteous? Are you just? Then you must live by faith because a day will come when you can not function by the natural.

Jesus rose above the natural and walked on water when He had no boat to cross to the other side. Peter tried it as well because he was functioning by faith but when he stopped, he sank. (Matthew 14:30).

Luke 5:5-6

This was not the usual business but another dimension of the supernatural had set in. There is hope for you; the natural may be against you but there is a spirit world where you come from that rises above the natural.
