The kind of prayer, intercession, and supplication that will make you arise and walk the high places that God has ordained for you must flow from a place of fervency, burning, passionate, and heartfelt praying.

James 5:16(AMPC) “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”

Many times, when we engage the Father in prayer, our attention searches here and there. Such prayers are good but will not do anything for us.

James 5:17 “Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.”

The Bible simply points us to one aspect of Elijah that can make anyone’s life a wonder: his prayer life. Elijah was a man like us, subjected to the same pressure but what made this man of God stand out was fervency in prayer.

That prayer is dynamic, it will cause whatever was stuck to sail, it will move you from a place of potency to the level of kinetic, and everything will begin to move when you engage God in heartfelt fervent prayer.

Acts 10:34(AMPC) “And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons,”

God is no respecter of persons and has got no grandchildren, we are all sons, and the Father to Elijah is the same Father to you and me. The choice is yours to how far you want to go in His presence, but His arms are wide open.

May God awaken this truth in your spirit: you do not need to be anybody, all you need is to know and engage God.  Even in these few days as we fast and seek the face of God, let your heart flow from a place of fervent prayer.

James 5:18 “And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.”

Elijah prayed again to prove to us that it was not an accident, and indeed rain came down. What shall we tell Elijah when we meet him in heaven?

My brothers and sisters, the key is in your hands. Learn to engage God at a heart level in everything, He is not a man that He should lie or a son of man that He should change His mind Numbers 23:19.

1 Kings 18:44 “Then it came to pass the seventh [time,] that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare [your chariot,] and go down before the rain stops you.'”

Dive into God and make a demand like Elijah. He stayed on his knees until his servant said;’, I see a cloud like a fist of a man’ and Elijah said; ‘it’s done’.

But many of us easily throw in the towel: you can’t win in this life like that, you cannot do much for the Kingdom. God is faithful and true to His word, stay there until you see the cloud.

We serve a prayer answering God, everything you are going through is subject to change. The answer is not in Heaven but in your heart; all that God is waiting for is for you to release it out of your spirit through fervent prayer. (Jeremiah 33:3)
